There will be 4 baptisms in the coming week. I am excited to see things (my teaching on Wednesday nights) making sense and not confusing everyone, i find that often things pertaining to Jesus become far to complex. Baptism is one of those things…i strive to keep it as simple as possible. Jesus asked me to do it…i don’t want him mad at me…so i do what im told. I also think there is something mysterious that happens when we emulate Christ…the idea that he felt the same sensation of being immersed under water and coming out with a new purpose in life is humbling…kinda gives me chills. The more often i can feel chills a i do as Christ instructs the better off i think ill be.
